Volunteers for Prosperity (VfP) is affiliated with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Beginning in 2003, Vfp encourages highly skilled volunteers from the U.S. to share their skills throughout the developing world. Volunteers can serve from a week to a year and are deployed through agencies affiliated with Vfp. Several areas of emphasis include health, education, and entrepreneurship.
