The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation helped establish the Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH). CUGH has more than 100 universities and colleges as members. The Consortium advocates and works to strengthen university involvement in research, service, and global health teaching. CUGH also hosts a large conference each year.

Following his passion and desire, Mr. Williams Yirenkyi developed an idea to care for children who urgently need help and founded GLOVO in July 2009. Due to incidents of mishandling of children at certain orphanage homes in the community and the fact, that not only orphans should be supported by the organisation’s welfare programs, Mr. Yirenkyi find another way to exercise control over the children’s situation, look for new families for them and monitor their way of living in general so that the children can feel a sense of belonging to their biological home. Now the project had grown to a stage to establish a school, Foster home and a Clinic. This had given us more privilege to preach Christ daily to these children.

The Community Response for Orphans and Vulnerable Children Support and Outreach in Kenya, Africa works to improve the living standards of orphans and children by providing sustainable basic needs. They provide support through food and nutrition by providing farming and agriculture resources. They also provide health care and education as well as psychosocial support.
