Yosemite Fund

The Yosemite Fund is the primary fundraising organization for Yosemite National Park. Since it was started in 1988, the Yosemite Fund has committed over $20 million to complete over 150 projects in the Park. Major projects funded to date include: “Spirit of Yosemite” – visitor orientation film; Glacier Point Amphitheatre; Happy Isles Nature Center exhibits; 1-1/4 miles of new bikeway in Yosemite Valley; and 2,000 bear-proof food lockers. We are currently working on projects regarding trail repair and access, wildlife management, cultural and historic preservation, visitor services and education, and scientific research.
