William Temple House

Established in 1965 by Father Clarence T. Abbott and other lay members of the Oregon Episcopal Diocese, William Temple House (WTH) is dedicated to protecting the self-respect and preserving the self-sufficiency of people in need, without regard for race, gender, age, marital status or religious affiliation. WTH, one of the oldest non-profits in Portland, dedicates itself to promoting human dignity and preserving self-sufficiency among the working poor through mental health counseling, pastoral and social services. WTH provides and develops inclusive services to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of working poor and disadvantaged individuals and families.
