United Way of the Midlands celebrates 82 years of caring service in 2005, bringing people and resources together to make our community strong. We raise funds for human care programs, and follow up to make sure the programs truly improve people’s lives. Our mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community. United Way’s Community Care Fund supports more than 150 local health and human service programs, and it’s closely monitored by nearly 80 volunteers who work with our staff to make sure the programs change lives and improve conditions in our community.
