The United Way of Summit County is making a real difference in the lives of real people. By focusing resources and relying on local expertise, we are able to provide solutions for the most pressing needs in our community. Our mission is to improve lives by mobilizing community assets for health and human services. The United Way raises funds for 55 local health and human service agencies, and our partner the American Red Cross, Summit County Chapter. Our vision is to make our community a great place to live, work and raise a family. To achieve this we will: identify and quantify community needs, identify and mobilize community assets to meet those needs, match financial and other assets to the needs and continuously improve service delivery.
