United Way of King County has existed since 1921 to help people live better lives, improve their communities, and realize their dreams. We work to strengthen our community in a number of ways. United Way of King County distributes money given to the Community Safety Net Fund to partner agencies that have specific outcomes as their goals. We are committed to making our funding decisions data-driven when possible, and to match community and individual needs with assets and services most appropriate to address those needs.
