Triangle United Way was born out of the consolidation of the United Ways of Durham, Orange and Wake counties in 1996. Triangle United Way, with the help of thousands of volunteers, is working to build our community. Last year we touched the lives of 300,000 people in need across Durham, Orange and Wake counties through the six community care areas: nurturing our very young children, investing in our youth, enriching the lives of our seniors, strengthening our families, meeting basic needs and providing access to health services.
