Tree House Animal Foundation

Tree House Animal Foundation was established in 1971 as a no-kill, cageless shelter for injured, abandoned, and abused stray cats. At Tree House, cats curl up on sunny windowsills, sleep in comfortable cat trees, and interact with staff, volunteers, and other cats. Tree House currently shelters an average of 300 cats and found loving homes for 535 cats in 2004. More than 12,000 cats have been adopted since Tree House’s founding. Our in-house clinic offers full veterinary care (including spay and neuter) for all admitted cats, and our socialization program helps to adapt feral cats to domestic life. Tree House also offers a variety of community programs and informational publications to educate people on the importance of the human/animal bond.
