The Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Diocese of Phoenix

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international volunteer organization that serves the poor in over 130 countries. Through home visits, shelter, food assistance, employment services, thrift stores and outreach programs, St. Vincent de Paul provides compassion and support to individuals in need, regardless of race, origin, religion or gender. Begun in 1946, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul – Diocese of Phoenix assists others in a spirit of humility and goodwill, inviting others to actively participate in assisting underprivileged populations in the struggle against poverty. Today, the Diocese has 89 Conferences of Charity, over 2,500 active and associate members (Vincentians), and more than 6,000 volunteers.
