The Conservation Foundation

Established in 1972, the Conservation Foundation is a land and watershed protection organization. The mission of the Foundation is to enhance the quality of life by preserving open space, protecting natural lands, and improving rivers and watersheds. All that we do here at the Conservation Foundation fits under one of the four “pillars” of our organization: land preservation, river and watershed improvement, public policy advocacy, and environmental education. These pillars also help to guide our decision-making and keep our work focused on our mission. The Foundation works in DuPage, Kane, Kendall, and Will counties in Illinois.
