Founded in 1986, Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation – Midwest Chapter is dedicated to brightening the lives of seriously ill children and their families by providing a broad array of both in-hospital and outpatient programs designed to enhance their ability to cope with the stress of illness. A leader in delivering distractive entertainment therapies, nearly 13,000 children throughout our service area of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin benefit from Starlight Midwest’s programs each month. So far this year, Starlight has been able to reach more children than ever before, primarily due to the expansion of the Kids Activity Network (KAN), a program that provides recreational activities and special outings for seriously ill and disabled children as well as their immediate families.
