The Santa Barbara Foundation is a community foundation established in 1928 to enrich the lives of the people of Santa Barbara County through philanthropy. The Foundation makes grants to community organizations, provides scholarships and loans to local students, helps donors meet their charitable goals, and works to grow and manage permanent funds to meet the future needs of our region. The Foundation has returned more than $90 million to the community in the form of grants and student aid since 1928.
