The mission of the Palm Beach Zoo at Dreher Park is to responsibly demonstrate its commitment to excellence in wildlife research and conservation by rescue, rehabilitation, and propagation. The Zoo is to be an asset to our local community by preserving the cultural heritage of Palm Beach County while providing a safe, educational, and recreational resource to all. Over 23 acres of lush, tropical landscaped habitats that are home to over 900 animals from Florida, Central and South America, Asia and Australia. The Zoo’s education department offers a variety of educational programs throughout the year, including summer camps, the Zoo-2-You outreach program, teacher workshops, and home school classes.
