Ozarks Food Harvest

In 1983 Ozarks Food Harvest was established to serve as a clearing house for donated food that might otherwise go to waste. That first year, the fledging food bank distributed just over 90,000 pounds of food to 22 local agencies. Over the past two decades the food bank has experienced steady growth in food collection and distribution. Ozarks Food Harvest’s service area now encompasses 37 counties across Southwest Missouri and Northern Arkansas, distributing food to a network of nearly 300 non profit charities. Over the past twenty years the food bank has distributed more than 60 million pounds of food to those in need throughout our communities.
