Minnesota International Center

The Minnesota International Center (MIC), a private, nonpartisan organization, was founded in 1953 to promote greater awareness and understanding of other cultures. The mission of the Minnesota International Center is to inspire our community to understand global issues and cultures in an ever changing world. Minnesotans and international participants are invited to participate in: World Affairs Forums, International Visitor Leadership Program, International Classroom Connection Program, Great Decisions Discussion Groups, Internships at the MIC, Dinner Hospitality, and Volunteer Opportunities In 2003-04, MIC organized 1,000 community activities with a record attendance of more than 30,000 children and adults from 109 countries and regions.
