Minneapolis Medical Research Foundation

The Minneapolis Medical Research Foundation (MMRF), has been finding answers to the health problems of our patients since 1952. Operating in Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC), an acute care research and teaching hospital, we support and oversee the medical research that takes place on campus. In an academic environment that emphasizes patient care, research and teaching, MMRF helps offer patients better care now and hope for improved healthcare in the future. We have research programs in alternative medicine, brain and immune disorders, cancer, clinical outcomes, children’s research and child advocacy, foods for well-being, heart disease, HIV/AIDS, international medicine, liver and gastrointestinal disease, orthopaedics, renal data studies, sleep disorders, tobacco dependence, trauma and burn, and traumatic brain injury.
