Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation

Established in 1962, the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation (MCSF) consists of a professional staff and hundreds of volunteer men and women dedicated to providing financial assistance in the form of scholarships for higher education to deserving sons and daughters of the U.S. Marine Corps, with particular attention being given to children whose parent was killed or wounded in action. In the 2004-2005 academic year, the Foundation awarded over $1.77 million in scholarships to 1,039 deserving children across the country, and to date, has awarded $28.9 million to over 19,000 scholarships recipients. Further, the MCSF has committed to provide an assured scholarship of $10,000 to all the children of Marines and Navy Corpsman who are killed in action in the “Global War on Terror”.
