Opened in 1966, Little Sisters of the Poor of Palatine- Saint Joseph’s Home for the Elderly offers a loving home with a family-like atmosphere in an environment of care, compassion and respect from which the residents benefit throughout life. This quality care is provided for 100 residents who are over 60 years of age and without the financial means, family or social support to maintain independence with dignity. The Home consists of a Permanent Care area and Low-Income Independent-Living Apartments. Little Sisters of the Poor of Palatine- Saint Joseph’s Home for the Elderly is one of 216 Little Sisters Homes in 31 countries. For 164 years, the Little Sisters of the Poor have dedicated their lives to giving total quality care to over 1,000,000 elderly poor persons.
