The John Muir Medical Center Foundation exists to support the John Muir/Mt. Diablo Health System. John Muir doctors are developing new ways to diagnose, treat and prevent major diseases such as cancer, stroke, and heart disease. Since 1965, John Muir Medical Center has served the community as a private, not-for-profit hospital dedicated to quality, compassionate care and to meeting the healthcare needs of the community. The John Muir Medical Center Foundation helps provide educational services; closes the gap between the government reimbursements or insurance payments and the real cost of the high quality care provided to every patient; and makes possible the purchase of life-saving medical equipment.
