Habitat for Humanity Orlando is an ecumenical, Christian organization dedicated to transforming the lives of low-income, hard working families through the American dream of homeownership. We are one of approximately 2,100 local affiliates of Habitat for Humanity International. Habitat for Humanity offers a hand up, not a hand out, to Orlando families caught in the never-ending cycle of poverty. Through hundreds of hours of “sweat equity” and classroom education, homeowners work side-by-side with countless community leaders, corporate executives, church and synagogue members, associations, civic groups, students, and an army of community volunteers that are dedicated to eliminating poverty housing and strengthening our neighborhoods.
