Girl Scouts of Hoosier Capital Council

Girl Scouts, founded in 1912, is the world’s preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls. On May 14, 1921 Indianapolis received a Council Charter from Girl Scouts USA. The Girl Scouts of Hoosier Capital Council serves 7 ½ counties including: Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, ½ of Morgan, and Shelby. We work to inspire girls with the highest ideals of character, conduct, patriotism, and service so that they may become happy and resourceful citizens. In Girl Scouts, girls discover the fun, friendship and power of girls together. Through the many enriching experiences provided by Girl Scouting, they grow courageous and strong.
