GADKenya – Go and Do Kenya; An organization of Kenyan’s, by Kenyan’s, for Kenyan’s.
Since the beginning, in 2007, education has become the primary catalyst of progress. In the last 10 years the number of students enabled to a Secondary (high school) education has grown to over 400. Over 40 young people have been able to participate in university, college or vocational learning. In 2017 alone, 21 students were enrolled in higher education tracks. We see supported students becoming teachers and leaders in their communities, and even more students enrolled in university and secondary school.
Those of us who have traveled to Kenya, witnessing and working alongside the leadership of GADKenya, believe that local, indigenous leadership, is by far the most effective in creating positive change.
