With roots dating back to 1891, the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home (CMCH) is a Baptist ministry, which provides hope for children and families dealing with difficult situations in their lives. This residential childcare ministry is headquartered in Greenwood, South Carolina with four other campuses across the state. The mission of CMCH is to care for children while developing and strengthening positive relationships in a Christian environment. CMCH offers a variety of ministries to meet the needs of the children, including: residential child placement; visitor foster home services for children who do not have family to visit; the Connie Maxwell Baptist Church; an enrichment program; and the OASIS Farm Program.
