The two-pronged approach of Children of The Americas is to provide nutrition for and facilitate the education of needy children in Latin America and the United States. With proper nutrition and sustained education throughout childhood, a child can emerge into young adulthood in good health, with proper physical development, and with marketable skills that will allow him or her to take a productive place in society and then pass that opportunity on to their children. The goal is to break the cycle of poverty for the children we help in one generation. In order to achieve this goal, Children of The Americas runs programs in Mexico, Guatemala and Washington, D.C., with the bulk of services provided in Tijuana, Mexico.
