Chicago Coalition for the Homeless

The Chicago Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) organizes and advocates to prevent and end homelessness based on our belief that housing is a human right in a just society. CCH was established in 1980 by Catholic Charities, Travelers and Immigrants aid, along with a host of other major service providers in response to the growing numbers of homeless people in the city of Chicago. The Chicago Coalition for the Homeless Speakers Bureau is a team of formerly and currently homeless advocates who conduct presentations and forums on homelessness and other social issues. Our topics include day labor, organizing, heath care, low-income housing, prostitution and advocacy.
