Catholic Charities of the East Bay (CCEB) is a diverse, multi-service nonprofit agency. Since 1934, it has played a central role in providing social services and advocacy to those most in need in Contra Costa and Alameda counties. Inspired by God’s love, our mission is to help people in need overcome poverty; build compassionate communities; and to advocate for justice. CCEB annually reaches over 64,000 individuals residing in the East Bay. These include the elderly, the hungry and homeless, people with disabilities, families and children, immigrants and refugees, the unemployed and underemployed, people with HIV/AIDS, victims of violence, at-risk youth, and others.
