Buffalo Bill Historical Center

Founded over 75 years ago as the Buffalo Bill Memorial Association, the Center’s five-museum complex consists of the Whitney Gallery of Western Art, the Buffalo Bill Museum, the Plains Indian Museum, the Cody Firearms Museum, and the Draper Museum of Natural History. In addition to the five museums, the Center houses the Harold McCracken Research Library. The Buffalo Bill Historical Center serves the public by advancing knowledge about the American West through acquiring, exhibiting and interpreting collections. Our work is accomplished through collections, education and research. The Buffalo Bill Historical Center is widely regarded as America’s finest Western museum. Each year 250,000 people visit the Center.
