Boy Scouts of America, Dan Beard Council is the Cincinnati area council of the national Boy Scouts of America (BSA) organization. BSA was incorporated to provide a program for community organizations that offers effective character, citizenship, and personal fitness training for youth. BSA works to prepare young people to make ethical choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. The Dan Beard Council serves 3,135 registered boy scouts throughout twelve counties in Kentucky and Ohio.
