Better World Campaign

The Better World Campaign (BWC) is a project of the Better World Fund, which was created with support from businessman and philanthropist Ted Turner as part of his historic $1 billion gift to support United Nations (UN) causes. Launched in 1999, BWC’s mission is to foster a stronger relationship between the U.S. and UN through outreach, communications, and advocacy. BWC engages policy-makers, the media, and the American public on the important work of the UN, and U.S. involvement with and funding of UN activities. BWC continues to advocate for full and timely payment of U.S. financial obligations to the UN in order to maintain a strong U.S.-UN relationship and to support the fiscal health of the United Nations.
