Arts & Science Council

The Arts & Science Council is a proactive organization that provides the planning, oversight and funding required to ensure and support a vibrant and culturally diverse art, science and history community in Charlotte/Mecklenburg for the education of our children and the enjoyment of all residents. Organized in 1958, the Arts & Science Council combines resources from the Annual Fund Drive, allocations from local, state and federal governments, and its endowment to support cultural organizations, educational programs, and individual artists throughout the region.
