The American Nicaraguan Foundation (ANF) aids the poor in Nicaragua by forging strategic alliances to procure and distribute commodity donations and funds to community based organizations that have been selected based on their effectiveness, transparency and spirit of service. Since its founding in 1992, ANF has shipped more than 1,771 containers of medicine, basic medical equipment, educational supplies and food valued at over $309.5 million for the poor in Nicaragua; and has invested in nearly 144 development projects including the construction of over 660 homes.
