The mission of the American Lung Association of Kansas is to prevent lung disease and promote lung health. The American Lung Association of Kansas is one of nearly 200 American Lung Association offices in the United States, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The Association fights lung disease in all its forms, with special emphasis on asthma, tobacco control and environmental health. The American Lung Association’s advocacy efforts have fueled the fight against Big Tobacco and the struggle to maintain healthy air quality standards indoors and out.
