American Forest Foundation

Chartered in 1982, The American Forest Foundation (AFF) began with the purpose of developing and administering programs that encourage the long-term stewardship of the environment and natural resources. AFF is an education and conservation organization working for healthy forests, quality environmental education, and to help people make informed decisions about their communities and the world. The Foundation has two fundamental goals: to ensure that America’s family owned forests continue to provide clean water, fertile soil, quality recreation, homes for wildlife, and wood for products–not just for this generation, but for all that will follow; and to help young people learn the skills they will need to become responsible environmental decision makers.
