American Architectural Foundation (AAF) educates individuals and communities about the power of architecture to transform lives and improve the places where we live, learn, work, and play. Through our outreach programs, grants, scholarships and educational resources, AAF inspires people to become thoughtful and engaged stewards of the built environment. The AAF believes that our surroundings affect all of us. The AAF is a national resource for those who want our communities to be centers of civilization and our children to inherit a wholesome physical environment that uplifts the spirit. AAF’s purpose is to help people understand the importance of architecture in their lives and then use that understanding to enrich their lives and transform their communities.
