Alliance for Justice

The Alliance for Justice (AFJ) is a national association of environmental, civil rights, mental health, women’s, children’s and consumer advocacy organizations. Since its inception in 1979, the Alliance has worked to advance the cause of justice for all Americans, strengthen the public interest community’s ability to influence public policy, and foster the next generation of advocates. Accomplishments include the Nonprofit Advocacy Project, a source all nonprofits rely on for the law governing lobbying and election-related activity, the Judicial Selection Project, which works in the effort for a fair and independent judiciary, and a new campaign called Coaches Against Gun Violence to help young people become active in the effort to reduce gun violence.
