Nepal (E3P) — Christ’s ministry on earth was marked by healing.
Attending to the physical pain removed the distractions so that people could then hear His heart. Many groups use a similar approach today.
E3 Partners Medical is a component of e3 Partners Ministry focusing on short-term medical mission trips for medical and non-medical professionals. Every year, they send hundreds of volunteers overseas to provide free medical, eye, and dental exams to communities where health care is not readily available. While meeting these tangible needs, they also work with church-planting teams to present the Gospel and connect individuals with local congregations.
December 31, 2014 – January 8, 2015, the e3 Partners medical team will be visiting Butwal, Nepal. This is the second expedition to this area in South Nepal, just south of Kathmandu.
However, the area offers a slightly different challenge for the teams. It’s made up of poor farmers and scattered villages, and there are very few churches. The strategy of e3 Partners Medical team is to methodically work in each district to plant a church. After providing free medical care, the team members will have an opportunity to share Jesus with the villagers.
Whether you’re a medical professional or just a concerned Christian, there are many opportunities to provide life-saving medical relief and promote HIV/AIDS awareness, Malaria prevention, and health education.
