2000 Dear Friend, Drew Harding was one of the kids we had in boarding while we worked at Bingham Academy in Ethiopia. He joined our boarding family in first grade and lived with us about five of the eight years he attended Bingham. Well, time has gone by and “little” Drew has grown up. In August, he married Janna. We missed the wedding in Portland, Oregon, but had the joy of attending a special reception for them in Charlotte. Harold made them a PowerPoint presentation of some boarding memories. |

(Here’s one of the pictures. Drew was in First Grade.) Praise the Lord with us for all that He has done in Drew’s life and for both his and Janna’s commitment to walk with Him. |
| Also in August, our daughter, Faith, came home from Kenya. She has completed her short term assignment at Rift Valley Academy as a dorm mom. She is now settled in with us, has a job, and is taking courses in Interior Design. It’s good to have her home. Pray that God directs her in her future. In September, before Faith started school, we took a vacation trip to the New England states and eastern Canada. Faith and her high school friend, Lori, joined us for the trip. Becky’s mom stayed in Washington DC with Becky’s sister. Visiting friends and relatives, whale watching, camping in colder weather, a lobster dinner, camping by the ocean, Cape Breton Island, Prince Edward Island, and Niagara Falls are some of the precious memories we have of our time. |

| This picture is of Lori and Faith near the northern tip of Cape Breton Island. Praise the Lord for the wonderful time we had and for the safety in driving (more than 5,000 miles).Pray for us now to be faithful in our daily routines. Pray especially for Becky as she cares for Mom. (Currently, we are having difficulty stabilizing Mom’s Coumadin level.) |  |
| Becky also works part-time in the Receipting department at
SIM. December/January is the busiest time of the year in that department. We praise the Lord for the many gifts this time of year. But, please pray for God’s help and strength in getting the receipts back to our donors in a timely
