Jongeward was born to Harold & Becky in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
She attended Bingham Academy in Ethiopia for grades 1-2, 4-8, with grade
3 and half of 6 at Westside Christian School in Yakima, Washington.
She attended Rift
Valley Academy
for grades 9 – 12. Faith
graduated from John Brown University
in Arkansas with a double major in Psychology and Intercultural studies.
Faith had a two-year short-term at Rift Valley Academy in Kenya as a dorm mom. She returned to the States in August, 2000. On April 14, 2001, Faith married Rodney Unruh, another SIM MK. (See the Jongewards' May prayer letter. They are setting up home in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Rodney works for Guthmann Construction. Faith is working in the Candidate Dept at the SIM USA office. Rodney and Faith are active in Manchester Creek Community Church of Rock Hill, South Carolina. |
