We know you have heard much about the needs of the radio and bookstore project. Our Honda generator is of good quality – it is just that the poor rebuild job at a reputable mechanics, did $1000 worth of damage. We are applying this cost toward the new one.

This outreach reaches a lot of people especially in the area. We are the strongest, clearest FM station around. We hope to increase the hours we are on the air with this larger generator – more about that later.

Thanks for considering how you might help with this need. We also want to thank all of you who sent us Christmas cards, letters and pictures. It was nice to hear from so many of you. Thank you so much for your continued concern, prayers and support for our family and the ministry here. We trust the Lord will continue to richly bless you in this New Year.

Prayer Requests

l. This project is a step of faith in providing Christian materials in a largely populated area where no Christian material is available at this time.
2. We need prayer partners for this area of ministry
3. We need financial help to continue with the building project.
4. We need good material to have available to sell in the bookstore.
5. We already see God's leading in this project of faith. His provision through His children is needed to see it completed.

Proposal for Project

1. The purpose of the bookstore is to provide good Christian study material in Spanish and Chimane.
2. Part of this store will be used for selling Chimane artifacts as they have very little outlet at this point for the materials they make.
3. Future plans are to have a small snack room or coffee shop for small groups of Christians to meet.

Present Progress on Bookstore

1. The walls are up.
2. The landscaping is done
3. Lacks finishing four pillars and one small room.
4. The next step is the roof.

We Need Your Help

We would like to see the Lord open up some opportunities for a coffee shop in the local town so that people visiting town buying their supplies etc could stop by and fellowship with other believers and connect to the radio station.

Goals

1. With financial help we could see this project done in three months.
2. Financial help needed to finish this project $8,000 - $10,000. We are figuring $5,000 - $7,000 to build the building and approximately $3,000 to stock the shelves.
